Translation Services

Local Storage
Most of your data is stored locally on your device:
- Recent translations (temporarily cached)

Cloud Storage (Optional)
If you enable cloud sync:
- Glossary entries
- Data is encrypted in transit and at rest
- Stored on secure, GDPR-compliant servers
- Accessible only by you with your credentials
- Can be deleted at any time from your account settings
Temporary Processing
Translation requests are processed temporarily and:
- Deleted immediately after translation is complete
- Never stored on our servers permanently
- Processed through encrypted connections
4. Data Sharing and Third Parties
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties, except:
Service Providers
- AI Translation Services: We use third-party AI providers for translation processing, but they do not retain your data
- Cloud Infrastructure: Secure hosting providers for optional cloud sync features
- Analytics: Anonymized usage data to understand app performance (you can opt-out)
